Justice
Our Reform Initiative for Georgia's Judicial System
Molding a progressive judiciary appropriate for the 21st century.
The primary purpose of Changing the Face of Justice is to reform Georgia by addressing and correcting discrepancies in our judicial system. A fair and equitable system would be fair to all people regardless of race, gender, class, or sexual orientation. This is currently not the case in Georgia, and these issues must be corrected from within.
An essential part of Changing the Face of Justice is supporting, training and recruiting worthwhile candidates to hold judiciary offices and building a support base that is rooted in education and rehabilitation.
Ready to Run Orientation is a program that serves as preparation to run a successful campaign. Potential future judiciary candidates beginning their legal and political careers will benefit from early education on how to campaign effectively and run for any office they set their sights on.
Changing the Face of Justice outreach efforts are primarily targeted toward marginalized groups, including people of color, women, members of the LGBTQ+ community. In addition, legal organizations and other clubs are also sought out for collaboration opportunities that benefit our communities.
Changing the Face of Justice offers candidate training for candidates in criminal justice (Judges, Magistrates, District Attorneys, Solicitor Generals, Sheriffs, Superior Court Clerks) to encourage fair practices
